Here at Covenant we are actively trying to make a difference in our community and the world in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.

WORSHIP WITH OTHER CONGREGATIONS
We are involved in ecumenical worship experiences several times a year with other local churches.

SANDWICH FOOD PANTRY
We participate in the Sandwich Food Pantry. A collection bin is located in the church foyer and sent to the local food pantry that provides assistance for local families. We also sponser a Chowder Fest every October with all proceeds going to the Food Pantry.

MISSION GIVING
We have an active missions program and support both local and international mission causes.

MISSION WORK PROJECTS
For several years we have been sending church members to the Dominican Republic on a mission work program. In addition to helping build and support churches in the sugar cane harvesting villages (called Bateys) members have helped build the Good Samaritan Hospital in LaRomana. Covenant members helped clear debris from an abandoned dump site and the pour the footing for the building in 1991. Last year the newly opened hospital treated over 29,000 patients who would have been unable to find affordable health care a decade ago.
